We are looking for writing such as the world has not yet seen. Send us your unprecedented deviations from the everyday. Send your best, most rigorously accomplished work. Our standards are very high.
You can submit written work by mail or e-mail. A cover letter is not necessary but strongly encouraged and likely to receive a quicker response. For e-mail submissions, we prefer to receive the text in the body of the e-mail, not as an attachment. We cannot guarantee a prompt response time, but you may submit your manuscript simultaneously to other publications. See below for addresses.
Paintings, Drawings, Prints, Photography, and Comics:
Send visual work by e-mail if possible. A professional scan is best. Cover letters are encouraged but not required. We reply to artistic contributions within two months, and generally publish within 6 months.
